Steelers consider reworking OC Matt Canada.
According to Pittsburgh Steelers beat reporter Jerry Dulac, the Steelers are considering moving offensive coordinator Matt Canada to the sidelines for this week’s game against the Tennessee Titans to see if he can help the offense.
Canada generally operates from bus boxes.
The Steelers offense has struggled all season and most of the blame goes to Canada and his lack of game planning and coordination.
Opposing defenses have repeatedly criticized Pittsburgh’s offense for being predictable and underperforming on their home court.
Pittsburgh is last in both yards and points this season.
But this is not a new Canadian-led phenomenon. The Steelers currently hold the longest streak in an NFL game without 400 yards of offense, and Canada keeps track of them all.
