It’s time for the Toronto Maple Leafs to clean house and fire this set of people

Which is ironic considering you can be really bad at your job in the NHL if you do it in an undistinguished way.
For example, Ken Holland has been the worst GM in the NHL for at least a decade, but no one cares.
Peter Chiarelli is being interviewed for every GM job from here until eternity, and just when you think you’ve seen the last of Mike Babcock, he pops back up as a character who died five times on your favorite soap. opera
When the Toronto Maple Leafs decided to stick with Shanahan instead of giving Dubas full control, Shanny decided to hire a guy who wouldn’t usurp him.
Hired because he will never, ever threaten Brendan Shanahan’s job. Frankly, it’s amazing that anyone would hire him to run a Walmart. Not to mention the Toronto Maple Leafs.
How the hell do you decide that the guy who gave Darryl Sutter the 54th pick, who traded for Matthew Tkachuk, who overpaid Nazem Kadri after an apparent defection, who signed Jonathan Huberdeau to the world’s shittiest sports contract, is the guy who manages your franchise. . . ?
Literally every move he made this summer was a mistake, and anyone with an Internet connection and a rudimentary knowledge of navigating Naturalstattrick.com and Capfriendly.com could have told you then.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently 18th in the NHL in points percentage and have 2 multi-goal comebacks and 3 games with a goalie (two wins and an OT loss). Their record is actually quite lucky.
The Calgary Flames are ranked 30th.
Brad Treliving needs to be removed from the Toronto Maple Leafs before he does more damage. But Brendan Shanahan and the entire front office have to go too.

The Toronto Maple Leafs can’t afford to wait. It’s not going to get any better and you can’t afford to waste the best season with two of the best players to ever be in your league.
