A.J. Brown Wasn’t Happy His Nephew Said Justin Jefferson Is His Favorite Player

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown enjoyed a historic season in 2023, but it looks like he has some work to do if he wants to become his nephew’s favorite player.
The 26-year-old took the X on Monday and revealed he wasn’t his nephew’s favorite NFL player when he found out Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson had usurped that throne.
In response to his nephew’s hilarious news, Brown joked that he better hope Jefferson wants to do his Christmas shopping for him because the wide receiver won’t be getting his nephew anything for Christmas anymore.
“My nephew Favorite Player Justin Jefferson. lol This is your own family. Let’s see if Jet gets her something for Christmas because I’m not lol,” Brown wrote in X.
Brown dominated this season, finishing third in the NFL with 70 receptions and second in the league with 1,005 yards and six touchdowns.
Despite his weekly big performances, he still hasn’t won over his nephew, apparently a die-hard Jefferson fan.
Philadelphia and Minnesota met in week two, with the Eagles winning the game 34-28. Jefferson had 11 catches for 159 yards, while Brown was limited to four catches and 29 yards.
