In Colorado’s home game, the Buffaloes lost to Oregon State 26-19. The loss came after Sanders made a huge coaching change, naming longtime NFL coach Pat Shurmur as the new quarterback after coach Prime relieved offensive coordinator Sean Lewis of those duties.
Many were surprised by the decision, as the Buffaloes averaged 32.1 points per game before Saturday’s loss.
While Shedeur Sanders’ coverage was better than the loss to UCLA, Colorado’s offensive line still needs to figure out how to prevent their QB1 from taking a sack. Colorado has allowed 46 sacks this season, the second most in the nation. Sanders was given pain medication for his injured hip during the game.
