“I’m not talking about other coaches, teams or staff. I do not believe. Sanders told the lovers.
“I’ve never been that type of player or person in my life.
“But any other school is telling these young people and their families I’m not going to be here.”

In a way, Coach Prime takes this as a compliment.

.

“They think we’re going to be so successful that I’m going to leave,” he said.
“So I understand what we have and the potential. But it’s not true.”

As he approaches his one-year anniversary as the leader of the pack, Sanders again spoke about his comfort level in Colorado.
.

“I think all my family is here.” He said.
“My mom, my dog, my daughter and everyone else, we love being here.
We absolutely love it 100%. So I have to deal with all these issues.
This is of utmost importance to recruits and their families.
I hear similar stories from other schools as well.”

Colorado State’s 2024 recruiting class currently ranks second among Big 12 promising programs behind Texas Tech with an average commitment score of 88.94, according to the 247Sports Composite.
“They’re not thinking about what happened,” Coach Prime said of how the recruits are processing the current loss.
“I think they are the missing piece of the puzzle that can help make this happen.
That’s why it exists.”
