Browns reacts to egregious non-call on Myles Garrett sack
The Cleveland Browns have a 2-0 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. On a day when Cleveland saw star Nick Chubb return to Browns Stadium and thought the Browns would go 7-3 this season, the team was excited. On the first defensive play of the game, defensive end Myles Garrett sacked Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett in his own end zone.
At least that’s how it seemed to everyone except NFL officials. When Garrett brought him down, it was clear Pickett wasn’t going to get the ball out of the end zone. However, the referee ruled at the 1-yard line and missed coach Kevin Stefanski’s flag. Leave it to Browns fans to respond appropriately to such public requests.
