Steelers HC Mike Tomlin gives Kenny Pickett ridiculous defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett had his fourth game with less than 200 yards passing on Sunday. Pickett also hasn’t had a layup in the past two weeks.
Sounds pretty bad, right?

Not according to coach Mike Tomlin.
He offered the most comical defense of Pickett’s lackluster performance after Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns, in which Pickett threw for 106 yards.
It was too late for him to play a full game.
When asked about the lackluster performance, Tomlin was honest.
It’s not that Pickett isn’t playing well, it’s that the running game is playing better.
Yes, he said that.
If a team rushes for 172 yards, 106 yards is good. 74 of them were delivered at once.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell if Tomlin is trolling the press because he’s tired of the questions or if he really believes what he’s saying about the violations.
