Steelers QB Kenny Pickett admits offense was fooled by the Browns

Every time Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett threw the ball against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, he seemed to disappear. Pickett managed just 106 yards in the loss and had no punt returns in the fourth quarter.
After the game, Pickett spoke to the media and admitted that offensive coordinator Matt Canada and the offensive line coaches had a flawed game plan.

“Their plan was to play a lot of man-to-man.
“We didn’t play a lot of man-to-man today,” Pickett admitted.
“They presented us with different regional views, different regional views. We expected him to come and play the man.
We can adapt better.”

Overall, Pickett summed up the Steelers’ offense in a nutshell, saying he coached on a day when the team played very poorly. Coaches don’t coach well, players play poorly, and one person reinforces the other.
Pittsburgh didn’t make significant adjustments during the game to account for that mistake, and even if they did, the team didn’t do well.
The team is currently 6-4 and struggling to stay competitive in the AFC.
