Browns Once again Trolls Steelers Thanksgiving Fast

Thanksgiving should be a time of family, feasting and football. Sure, there may be arguments between family members, but we all want to come together and be thankful for the blessings in our lives. Then we try to wake up and eat a good meal before settling into our comfy chairs and watching football all day. We love holiday traditions. But the Cleveland Browns have decided to be a grumpy family determined to cause controversy at the dinner table when we all just want to enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing. What does it take to have a good lunch at the AFC North table? Now, I have to agree that tryptophan-induced drowsiness is difficult to treat. This is especially true if you have a very comfortable sofa in front of the TV. But I would say I try to focus on football while everyone around me is talking and tryptophan is taking over my waking hours. Like Alex Highsmith stealing a football and returning it for a touchdown against the Browns.

Or maybe Thanksgiving football is boring and you’re blind from sleep and Highsmith and T.J. Watt slapped him. But maybe that’s just me. I might be wrong. Whether they’re on board or asleep, there’s one thing Steelers fans can appreciate about the Browns. Last Sunday’s terrible offensive performance in Cleveland put the final nail in the coffin for offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Thanks, Browns. This afternoon, let your turkey-induced sleep hit you as hard as Watts and Highsmith. Enjoy delicious pumpkin pie from Black & Gold.

Happy Thanksgiving, Still Country!
