SAD NEWS: Two Key Browns Defenders Listed As Questionable For Week 12

Two of the Browns’ starting quarterbacks are listed as questionable for Week 12.

The injury woes have extended to the defensive side of the ball as the Browns look to extend their three-game winning streak in Denver.

The Cleveland Browns, who are 7-3, continue to battle injuries as they look to qualify for the postseason. With several offensive linemen already gone, this defense will now have to deal with uncertainty at several key positions. As Cleveland wraps up its week of practice ahead of the game against the Denver Broncos, the team has listed veteran linebacker Anthony Walker as questionable. Walker is dealing with an injury suffered in last week’s game against the Steelers. Meanwhile, guaranteed safety Juan Thornhill joins Walker as questionable after missing the Steelers game with a calf injury. The former frontman picked up the injury in week 10 against the Crows. Thornhill’s possible absence is a major threat, especially considering Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward was ruled out Sunday. Ward is currently dealing with a shoulder injury and could be out for several weeks. Additionally, the team placed safety Rodney McLeod on IR earlier this week, leaving rookie Ronnie Hickman and sophomore D’Anthony Bell as the remaining backup sources for Thornhill and fellow starter Grant Delpit.

Along with Ward, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin was ruled out. He remains in concussion protocol after taking a hit to the head in Week 9.

On the bright side, the Browns activated linebacker Jordan Kunasic from IR this week and he is listed as questionable for the team’s trip to Denver. Meanwhile, Cleveland’s Davend Jones had a full practice Thursday and Friday after injuring his knee and limited hitting in Pittsburgh.

The Browns’ official questionable status will be known 90 minutes before Sunday’s kickoff at 4:05 EST.
