The Browns are looking to reunite with their fan favorite WR for a playoff run.

Jarvis Landry is still without a team, and the veteran pass catcher has turned into a potential late-season asset for the Cleveland Browns as the team tries to make a playoff push.

After being released by the Browns in 2022, Landry’s career took a dramatic turn. He then signed a one-year contract with his hometown Saints, but only appeared in nine games. Due to injuries, Landry caught 25 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown. New Orleans decided not to bring back the 30-year-old wide receiver this offseason.

The Browns have been suggested by Bleacher Report as a possible destination for Landry. “I can’t break around the circle and realize how to break up. Yarvis Landy announced LSU a few years ago, but three 1000 meters did not see” sheet “with 38 visitors. “It is not expected to be a large-scale target, but it will immediately lend a helping hand to any offensive attack.”

The Kansas City Chiefs were also considered a potential home for Landry.

It wouldn’t be a bad move for the Browns to have rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson looking for a veteran and reliable. At this point in the year, Landry would be an inexpensive addition to help bolster Cleveland’s solid receiving corps. Landry could also be a nice addition to the locker room. He helped change Cleveland’s culture when he arrived via trade in 2018 and still has former teammates welcoming him to Cleveland. He also seems to have left on good terms.

“The Jarvis Landry trade in 2018 was a pivotal moment for our organization,” Browns GM Andrew Berry said when Landy was fired. “Jarvis’ on-court production and fierce competitiveness have impacted our culture, where Jarvis’ leadership and team-oriented approach will continue even after his release. “These decisions are always difficult, but we wish Jarvis the best and look forward to his return as a legendary Brown alumnus.”

Amari Cooper carries the load for the Browns.

The Browns relied heavily on Amari Cooper to carry the game. Cooper has 45 catches for 749 yards this season. New signee Elijah Moore was also productive, recording 40 catches for 374 yards. But there was very little production behind the Browns’ top two receivers. David Bell, Marquise Goodwin and Cedric Tillman have 10 catches for 53 yards this season. The Browns also traded Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Detroit Lions at the deadline.

With Deshaun Watson out for the year, Cooper knows he and the rest of his receivers will have to step up to help Thompson-Robinson. “Obviously it’s unfortunate that Deshaun is out for the season,” Cooper said Friday, Nov. 24. “bad. He really wants to play. He really wants to be here. He really wants to be with us. That’s why it’s scary, but that’s why soccer is the ultimate team game. We are all behind it and we have to stand together. So it challenges us and gives us a chance to see how we come together as a team. I like our chances.”

The Browns host the 8-3 Denver Broncos on Sunday. Cleveland is only 1.5 when it comes to road play.
