Browns vets hilariously strap rookie defensive linemen with $40k dinner tab
There are some fun and hilarious hazing incidents every year in the NFL, and some of them happened last night with the Cleveland Browns. The defensive linemen went out to dinner together as the team traveled to Los Angeles and spent a full week preparing for the Rams. Rookie defensive linemen Siaki Ika and Isaiah McGuire had their “welcome to the NFL” moment.
When it came time to check out the dinner, the veterans all gathered around the youngsters and ran up the bill for nearly $40,000 that night. They knew that their famous Innovation Dinner was coming to an end soon, and McGuire and Ika would eventually have to pay.
This team seems more connected than any team in Cleveland before. Another example is the common defense dinner, which ends up being a lot of fun with new players. Hopefully all of this will lead to a win for the Browns after a week in Los Angeles.
