Eagle fans are loving Bradley Cooper more, after making an unbelievable statement about winning a Super Bowl

Bradley Cooper said he would trade an Oscar win for the Eagles winning the Super Bowl.

To the delight of Philadelphia Eagles fans and the shock of the Netflix Awards PR team, actor and director Bradley Cooper sacrificed himself to the football gods for a Philly Super Bowl victory.

Speaking to Howard Stern, Cooper confidently stated that he would rather the Eagles win the big game than his film Maestro win three Oscars for Carey Mulligan – Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress – at the ceremony from next year. Yes, Cooper would certainly give up winning two Academy Awards individually to watch his favorite NFL team hoist Lombardi in February.

If that’s not devoted fandom, we’re not sure what is.

Bradley Cooper was asked by Howard Stern if he’d rather win multiple 2024 Oscars for Best Actor, Best Director, and have his co-star also win Best Actress, or have the #Eagles win the Super Bowl.

While Cooper’s Leonard Bernstein biopic plays in select theaters right now and should haul in a respectable number of Oscar nomination this winter, his Eagles are 10-1 and are in the driver’s seat for the top seed in the NFC. The Master currently faces a lot more competition in the Oscar race than Philadelphia does in the Super Bowl, so it might help Cooper realize that his second chance at winning the award isn’t all that great.

At the very least, Cooper should change his mind and make Mulligan eligible to win Best Actress, even if it means giving up the trophy for the NFL’s ultimate trophy. He did not participate in this bet!
