JUST-IN: Pittsburgh Steelers recieves unexpected good news

The Pittsburgh Steelers actually return an All-Pro safety.

The Pittsburgh Steelers brought All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick onto the field for the first time in four weeks as he returned to practice from a hamstring injury. Fitzpatrick has been a full participant each week and checked in for his first practice since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 8. Coach Mike Tomlin said during his weekly press conference that he was “lightened” that Fitzpatrick would be available this week, and safety Damontay Kazee said after the team’s game in Cincinnati that he expects his teammate to return against the Cardinals. It’s unknown, but Fitzpatrick is expected to return to a full-time game-day role by Week 13. If he’s active, he’ll start, but Trenton Thompson could get playing time after Fitzpatrick’s injury. The Steelers also hope to have Montravious Adams back this week as the defensive group tries to work through an ankle injury. Adams went from a limited participant last week to a full participant this week. Tomlin said he hopes both Fitzpatrick and Adams play in Week 13 against the Cardinals.
