Travis Kelce sends an unbelievable pleading message to Cleveland browns

“Please let me play in Cleveland,” Travis Kelce pleaded before the 2013 NFL Draft.

Playing for the Browns: ‘It was a dream at first’ on Travis Kelce

There are so many “what if” questions in professional sports that are often meaningless and fan-centric. “What if the Cleveland Browns had drafted Tom Brady instead of Spurgon Wynn?” “Why didn’t LeBron James leave the Cleveland Cavaliers?” “What if there is no rain delay in the World Series?”

It’s all about sports in Cleveland. “What if” questions have rarely been more realistic.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s dream has always been to play for the Browns. He and his brother, OL Jason Kelce, dressed up as Bernie Kosar on Halloween when they were kids and named their podcast “The Heights” after Cleveland Heights.

Speaking with music artist MGK, another famous Clevelander and Browns fan, Travis Kelce was offered a certain amount of money on his podcast to come home and perform for Cleveland when his contract with the Chiefs was up. After laughing and noticing what’s good from Kansas City, Taylor Swift shared her pre-draft conversation with then-Browns HR Rob Chudzinski.

“That was the original dream. When they brought the team back, I remember yelling in Coach Chudzinski’s face, ‘Let me play for Cleveland.’ Club. Bruins”.

For now, Jason’s interactions with Travis and MGK are both an interesting and sad scenario for Cleveland fans. You can see everything here:

Kelce, 34, is currently under contract with the Chiefs through 2025, but could be released for the minimum salary if his level of play doesn’t continue. Since they play in the same conference and are theoretically both competing for a Super Bowl, it is highly unlikely that Cleveland will end up in a tight end. At 37 and without a contract, Kelce still can’t produce at a high level, but a one-year veteran deal could help him fulfill his dreams and become a mentor to more young players.
