Done Deal: Steelers to sign ex-Ravens QB to practice squad

Report: Steelers sign former Ravens quarterback Trace McSorley to practice squad Shortly after Mike Tomlin left a press conference saying he was considering options to add a quarterback, they I did it.
, The Steelers have signed free agent Trace McSorley to their practice squad.
McSorley has appeared in nine games since being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
In that span, he threw for 79 yards, no touchdowns, five interceptions and two fumbles.
He made his first career start with the Arizona Cardinals in 2022.
McSorley will be added to the 53-man roster, but will be inactive (as an emergency QB) when the Steelers play the New England Patriots on Thursday.
Mitch Trubisky will start in place of injured Kenny Pickett, who underwent surgery this morning for an upper ankle sprain.
