Nick Sirianni is ‘sad’ about ‘Big Dom’.
Will the NFL allow DiSandro to be on the sideline during the Dallas Cowboys vs.
Philadelphia Eagles SNF game?
As critics continue to slam “Big Dom” DiSandro for his unprecedented decision to intervene during the Philadelphia Eagles’ 42-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni used the word “sad” to criticize his team.

  • Fierce controversy.
    .
    .
But the Eagles haven’t exactly apologized yet.
Sirianni said, “It’s sad that something like this happened and someone was ejected from the game.
” In fact, 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw was the first player to be ejected from receiver DeVonta.
  • He was sent off for body slamming Smith, and then had a heated exchange with a non-football staff member named DiSandro, the Eagles’ head of security.
    .
    .
.Eventually he was kicked out himself.
So the 49ers lost a player.
And the Eagles — with all due respect to “Big Dom” and his undoubtedly valuable talent — lost the man in the polo shirt.
Of course, Philadelphia didn’t exactly “lose” him.
DiSandro was photographed waiting in the tunnel after the game, receiving handshakes and hugs from Eagles players and coaches as he entered the loser’s locker room.
“Dom is the best in this business,” Sirianni said, expressing support for the employees currently under investigation for their conduct by the NFL.
“I am very grateful to him.
He will always try to defuse the situation.
That’s what he does, that’s his job.
Obviously I'm disappointed (Sunday), but I know deep down in Dom's heart that he really tried to defuse the situation on the spot. '' Logically, here,Dom ‘s heart’ is not functioning.
Non-soccer players standing on the sidelines wearing polo shirts, along with custodians, beer vendors and enthusiastic fans, are prohibited by regulation from having heated interactions with soccer players.
As the Eagles prepare to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football this week to maintain their lead in the NFC East, here’s a side note on all of that: The NFL has ‘Big Dom’ on the side Will you allow me to return to the line?
