Spieth stated, “Jon Rahm is one of the biggest assets that we have on the PGA Tour.” We want to play against the best players in the world, and Jon is one of them, so it would be really bad for us overall. I know there’s been a few people that have conversed with him.

“I realize he’s perhaps gauging a few choices, perhaps not. I don’t want to offend him by suggesting that he is weighing his options if he already knows he is or isn’t because I really don’t know. That is to some degree beyond my control, as it were. Clearly, I could talk presumably for 200 or more PGA Visit players in saying that we truly trust that he’s going on with us.”
