Hamilton lays down Mercedes W15 demand for 2024 car
Hamilton sets down Mercedes W15 interest for 2024 vehicle
The Mercedes driver has not won a Fabulous Prix for more than two years, and needs a fresh start for the 2024 W15 vehicle to get Red Bull.
Mercedes should make sure that its W15 2024 vehicle is “not a replica” of the problematic W14, Lewis Hamilton has urged.
Multiplying down on its zero sidepod idea toward the beginning of the year, Mercedes immediately found that it had got some unacceptable thought, and brought updates of a more customary sidepod plan in Monaco.
While progress was made by the group as it completed second in the Constructors’, it neglected to come out on top in a race interestingly beginning around 2011 and scored 409 focuses to Red Bull’s 860.
It has focused on unrest instead of the development from the W13 to W14 the previous winter, and Hamilton is sharp for the inclination to change radically.
“There have been a couple of up-sides, for example, getting shaft position in Budapest, which we didn’t believe would have been conceivable when I originally drove the vehicle,” Hamilton told media including RacingNews365.
“The update that we found in Austria, and the way that with a couple more laps, we might have been in shooting range for a success, shows that we are gradually transforming this vehicle into a more serious machine.
“It’s gotten more pleasant to drive, and to be in a position where you really go advances as opposed to in reverse.
“It’s been positive, yet it is as yet not essentially a triumphant vehicle, and that is the thing we must change one year from now.
“I’m pretty sure that won’t be the case,” says “The dream is to make sure that when we start in February next year, the car is not a replica of this year’s car and feels exactly the same.”
