LIV Golf announce three new players for 2024 season after John Rahm signing
Kalle Samooja, Jinichiro Kozuma, and Kieran Vincent have become the latest players to join LIV Golf, following in the footsteps of Masters champion Jon Rahm, who signed with the breakaway league earlier this week. This follows Jon Rahm’s switch to LIV Golf earlier this week. Three more players have been added to the breakaway league’s roster for the 2024 season after the end of LIV Promotions.
The triplet all procured a put on the Saudi-moved circuit for 2024 subsequent to completing in the main three spots at LIV’s very first Qualifying-School occasion in Abu Dhabi. Samooja was the one who ended up as the winner in the Center East, in the wake of shooting eight-under-standard across the last 36 openings on Sunday.
After the end of regulation play, Kozuma and Vincent tied with fellow hopeful Laurie Canter on seven-under, forcing them to compete in a three-man playoff for a spot on the LIV roster.
The initial season finisher opening saw Trot come extremely close to getting back to LIV for 2024. Both Vincent and Kozuma had holed out far standard, meaning a birdie for the Brit would book him a put on the breakaway circuit.
Unfortunately for the former Majesticks GC star, his birdie putt missed the hole, forcing the three to play a second playoff hole on the 18th tee. Subsequent to being minutes from getting a LIV spot 15 minutes sooner, Jog then, at that point, everything except finished his expectations on the standard five last opening.
A delinquent tee shot then saw him hit his second into the water, in an exorbitant blunder for the British bloke. After then finding the sand with his drop from the danger, Trot fixed his destiny by getting done with a twofold intruder.
