Three-star Old Matthew Bedford, through Indiana

6-6, 314 lbs

Entered the exchange entryway on November 27th and focused on Colorado on December twelfth in the wake of visiting the Bosses Place the end of the week earlier. Bedford was a 2019 three-star select out of Cordova, TN and focused on the Indiana Hoosiers. He has started 40 games in his career, and in 2023, he started 11 of the Hoosiers’ 12 games. He has started multiple games at left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle across the offensive line.

Chamon Metayer, a four-star TE from Cincinnati, entered the transfer portal on December 4 and visited the Champions Center on December 10 before signing with Colorado. Metayer was a Miami, Florida, native who was a four-star recruit in 2021 and committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats. In 2022 he showed up in six games, missed six because of a physical issue and acquired his most memorable profession start in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl. In 2023, Metayer played in 11 games while beginning in four of those. Last season, he caught 23 passes for 258 yards and five touchdowns.

Kahlil Benson, a three-star IOL from Indiana, entered the transfer portal on November 27 and visited the Champions Center on December 9 before signing with Colorado. Benson, a three-star 2020 recruit from Southaven, Mississippi, made a commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers. Due to a torn ACL, he did not play in 2020 or 2021, but in 2023, he started at right tackle in all 12 games for the Hoosiers and played in all 24 games the previous two seasons.

Three-star IOL Justin Mayers, by means of UTEP

Entered the exchange entrance on November 27th and focused on Colorado on December ninth subsequent to visiting the Heroes Community. In 2022, he had three receptions for 79 yards and one touchdown in nine games as a true freshman. Timmons had 11 receptions for 195 yards and started one of the 12 games in 2023. He is Keenan Allen’s cousin from the Los Angeles Chargers.

IOL Tyler Johnson, who came from Houston, signed a contract with Colorado on December 9 after visiting the Champions Center and entering the transfer portal on December 7. Johnson was a 2019 four-star select out of Conroe, TX and focused on the Texas Longhorns. Johnson committed to the Houston Cougars through the transfer portal after not playing for the Longhorns in 2021. He played in each of the 12 games while making 10 beginnings at right gatekeeper in 2022 and reviewed out as one of the most amazing watchmen in the FBS as per Expert Football Concentration. He started 11 of the Cougars’ 12 games in 2023 at left guard.

IOL Yakiri Walker, through Connecticut

Entered the exchange entry on December fourth and focused on Colorado on December ninth in the wake of visiting the Bosses Community. Walker was a 2021 three-star select out of DeSoto, TX and focused on the Connecticut Huskies. He was UConn’s beginning community in 2023 and played more than 800 snaps for the Huskies last season.

Transfers Out On December 14th, OG Owen Westemeyer entered the transfer portal. as a walk-on and scout team member, he contributed.

RB Anthony Hankerson – entered the exchange gateway on December fourth. Played in every one of the 12 games and had numerous beginnings for Colorado last season. He scrambled for 319 yards on 78 conveys (4.1 ypc) with one hurrying score and had 71 getting yards on 16 gatherings and one getting score in 2023.

C Van Wells – entered the exchange entrance on December fourth. Played in 11 games and had 10 beginnings for Colorado in 2023.

On December 4, TE Michael Harrison entered the transfer portal. A previous wide recipient, Harrison changed over completely to tight end and began each of the 12 games for Colorado last season. He had 31 gatherings for 284 yards and five scores in 2023.

On December 4, RB/CB Dante Capolungo entered the transfer portal. as a walk-on and scout team member, he contributed.

On December 4, wide receiver Cole Boscia entered the transfer portal. as a walk-on and scout team member, he contributed.

WR Chernet Estes – entered the exchange gateway on December fourth. as a walk-on and scout team member, he contributed.

LB Eoghan Kerry – entered the exchange gateway on December fourth. Left the program before fall camp began.

LT Gerad “Tank” Christian-Lichtenhan – entered the exchange entry on December first. Played in each of the 12 games and had 11 beginnings for Colorado in 2023.

On November 28, LB Marvin Ham entered the transfer portal. Played in 11 games and had 36 handles, 1.5 handles for a misfortune and one sack for Colorado in 2023.

On November 27, TE Caleb Fauria entered the transfer portal. Participated on special teams in six Colorado games in 2023 and converted one two-point conversion.

Drelon Miller, a four-star ATH from Silsbee High School in Silsbee, Texas, is a recruit for the Class of 2024. He is listed as 6 feet, 190 pounds. Miller committed to Colorado on December 10 and is the 64th overall player and 13th-ranked wide receiver in the 2024 class. The native of Texas is an all-around threat who, during high school, played receiver, running back, defensive back, wildcat quarterback, and kick returner. He also likes to play basketball. Miller has over 44 offers, including those from Texas, Georgia, and Michigan.

Jordan Seaton, a five-star OT who grew up in the Washington, D.C., area but attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL for his senior year of high school football. Seaton is recorded at 6-foot-5, 287 pounds with a 6-foot-10 wingspan. On December 7, he made a commitment to Colorado. Seaton is the fifteenth generally player and first positioned hostile tackle in the 2024 class. Seaton played inside hostile line prior to moving to handle later on in his secondary school profession. Seaton will be a plug-and-play left tackle at Colorado and one of the most dominant and impressive recruits in the country in 2023 at IMG Academy. He has over 33 offers, including Ohio State, Alabama, Tennessee, and Oregon.

The 6-foot-1, 181-pound four-star ATH Kam Mikell attends Statesboro High School in Statesboro, Georgia. Mikell is the 104th generally player and fifth positioned competitor in the 2024 class. On November 23, Mikell committed to Colorado. He is regarded as a legitimate two-way player and one of the nation’s fastest recruits. Mikell was a running back, wide receiver, and quarterback in high school, but he was also a quarterback and wide receiver in college. He is an all year competitor who likewise runs track and plays ball. Amontrae Bradford, a three-star EDGE and Colorado commit in 2024, is Mikell’s cousin and teammate. He has over 31 offers, including Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia, and Michigan.

Issiah Walker, an OT at JUCO and a graduate of Butler Community College, lives in Miami, Florida. Walker is listed at 309 pounds and 6 feet 5 inches. On October 30th, he made a commitment to Colorado. Walker was the 15th-ranked offensive tackle and the 157th-ranked offensive tackle overall as a four-star 2020 recruit. He made a commitment to Florida in 2020, but before the season started, he entered the transfer portal and joined Miami (Florida). He ended up playing at Butler Community College instead of Miami. Before decommitting and returning to Butler CC for the 2023 season, Walker entered the portal ahead of the 2023 season and made a commitment to Purdue.

Three-star EDGE, Amontrae Bradford – from Statesboro Secondary School in Statesboro, GA and is recorded at 6-foot-5 and 237 pounds. Bradford focused on Colorado on October ninth. He is the 42nd-ranked EDGE in the 2024 class and the 629th-ranked player overall. Kam Mikell, a four-star athlete who has committed to Colorado in 2024, is a teammate and cousin of Bradford’s. He has north of 25 offers including Texas A&M, Kentucky and Nebraska.

Micah Welch, a three-star running back from Milledgeville, Georgia’s Baldwin High School, stands at 5-foot-9 and weighs 210 pounds. On June 12, Welch made a commitment to Colorado. He is ranked 56th among running backs in the 2024 class and 746th overall. In 2022, he won the award for the best offensive player in Georiga Region 4-AAAA. Zycarl Lewis, a three-star wide receiver who attends Venice High School in Venice, Florida and is listed as 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, is one of Welch’s more than 21 offers, which include Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida, and Oregon. On June 11, Lewis made a commitment to Colorado. In the 2024 class, he ranks 74th among wide receivers and 526th overall. Lewis was Venice’s primary return man and plays wide receiver in addition to running back. He has top-end speed and runs track, Lewis was the anchor for his secondary school 4×100 transfer group. Lewis has offers from Georiga, Florida State, LSU, and Notre Dame, among others.

Four-star DL, Brandon Davis-Lover – from West Bloomfield Secondary School in West Bloomfield, MI and is recorded at 6-foot-3 and 263 pounds. Davis-Lover focused on Colorado on June tenth. He is ranked 30th among defensive linemen in the 2024 class and 227th overall. During his time at high school, he played on both the defensive and offensive lines as a tight end. Davis-Lover has north of 26 offers including Notre Woman, Miami, Michigan and USC.

Three-star DL, Eric Brantley Jr. – from Valdosta Secondary School in Valdosta, GA and is recorded at 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds. Brantley Jr. focused on Colorado on December 28th, 2022. He has received offers from 21 schools, including Arkansas, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, and Jackson State.

Omar White, a three-star DL, was arrested on March 7 and charged with three felonies in connection with shootings in Georgia, according to Sports Illustrated. from Valdosta Secondary School in Valdosta, GA and is recorded at 6-foot-3, 307 pounds. On December 26, 2022, White made a commitment to Colorado. He was enrolled by Charles Kelly at Alabama.

Coaching and Personnel Staff For the 2024 season, Colorado has yet to name their offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, or tight ends coach. As indicated by sources, Colorado has proactively filled the majority of their instructing opportunities and declarations will be made soon.
