Tiger Woods Absolutely Blown Away By Son Charlie’s Flop-Shot Technique: ‘F—ing Nasty’
They’re back: Tiger Woods and his 14-year-old son Charlie have officially stepped onto the grounds of Orlando’s Ritz-Carlton Golf Club for the 2023 PNC Championship.
The father-son duo is participating in his fourth consecutive 36-hole family team tournament.
They arrived on Friday morning in time for Friday’s pro-am and began training immediately.
After arriving at the range, the elder Woods met his son in the short game area.
They were just heading to the first tee when Charlie hit a shot that stopped Tiger.
With a wide open face and athletic stance, Charlie managed a full back swing and effortlessly landed a perfect flop shot.
If you listen closely, you can hear the impact of Charlie’s wedge on the wet grass.
This is the key to a controlled high loft tip.
Charlie, a 15-time major champion, walked away after his shot and insisted on ending his training session on a positive note.
“That’s it.
That was the worst!
” said the five-time Masters champion.
“Damn it, you’re evil!
” Elder Woods laughed and walked away, imitating the wedging motion with his son’s hand.
If we’ve ever seen this, this is a proud father moment.
