Colorado football’s Deion Sanders strikes again in move entryway with ex-Vanderbilt QB
Mentor Deion Sanders and Colorado football have ostensibly been the most dynamic group in School Football with the exchange gateway since the finish of the customary season. Walter Taylor, a former Vanderbilt Commodore, might have been one of their most important additions at the most important position. This news comes two days after it was reported another previous SEC quarterback, Kentucky’s Destin Swim, would move Colorado.
Taylor, who stands 6’7″ and weighs 235 pounds, will not only be the Buffaloes’ biggest quarterback but also one of their biggest players. The southpaw was a four-star enlist hailing out of Jackson, Alabama who has a gun for an arm alongside versatility that is challenging for protections to contain. He was sparingly utilized in his time at Vanderbilt, gathering more than 100 yards on the ground and a score as a redshirt green bean.
Taylor will contend with Swim and redshirt first year recruit Ryan Staub for the essential reinforcement job to star quarterback, senior Shedeur Sanders. Sanders is projected to be a first-round draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Taylor will have 3 years of qualification remaining once he steps foot onto Stone’s grounds.
The Buffaloes ranked 20th in total passing yards and 15th in passing yards per game in Coach Sanders’ first season, despite finishing 4-8. They not just bring back key weapons like AP All-American competitor Travis Tracker yet are retooling at this past season’s most fragile position; Hostile line, with the #1 positioned Hostile lineman of 2024, Jordan Seaton committing alongside previous three-star Indiana Old Matthew Bedford moving over. Football is about “Next Man Up” and whoever arises as the reinforcement to Sanders will be strategically positioned to prevail in Colorado football’s most memorable season back in the Enormous 12 starting around 2010.
