Deion Sanders, Colorado land commitment from LSU transfer DE, former top-80 prospect
Deion Sanders is adding a previous LSU protective finish to his Colorado program.
Quency Wiggins committed to playing for Coach Prime’s Buffaloes earlier this month when he entered the transfer portal.
Wiggins, a Baton Rouge native and former Madison Prep Academy standout, was a highly sought-after recruit for the Class of 2022. He was appraised 4-stars, the No. defensive lineman No. 13 and The 247Sports Composite ranks 75 prospects all together. Over Alabama, Florida, Texas, and others, Wiggins chose LSU.
Wiggins played in only 9 games north of 2 seasons at LSU. He can play three full seasons for the Buffaloes next season and will be considered a redshirt sophomore.
As a rookie, Wiggins showed up in 5 games for LSU over the 2022 season. He kept 4 handles in LSU’s Citrus Bowl prevail upon Purdue, his best game as a Tiger.
This previous season, Wiggins played in only 4 games. He made two stops, one of which was for loss, as LSU went 9-3. Brian Kelly’s Tigers are making a beeline for the ReliaQuest Bowl to confront Wisconsin on New Year’s Day.
