Phil Mickelson welcomes new LIV Golf team member after previously missing out
Phil Mickelson and the rest of the HyFlyers GC team that he captains for Liv Golf recently released a video to welcome their new team member Andy Ogletree Golf superstar Phil Mickelson and his HyFlyers GC crew have welcomed 25-year-old American golfer Andy Ogletree to their LIV Golf team. This follows Phil Mickelson’s previous absence from the team.
In a video shared via web-based entertainment, Mickelson and colleagues Brendan Steele and Cameron Tringale all communicated their energy about Ogletree going along with them. Mickelson stated, Andy Ogletree, welcome to the HyFlyers. We are so eager to have you.”
Steele added: ” Andy, being a magnificent year is going. You will bring such a huge amount to the group and we can hardly hold back to begin.” After Tringale cheered, “We should go, child,” Mickelson finished up with, “How about we fly and go.”
Mickelson had recently commended Ogletree, saying he was an ideal expansion to the group. ” Andy is perhaps of the most noteworthy youthful player in the game who has procured his spot on LIV,” Mickelson expressed.
“It was amazing to see the hard work he has continued to put in and the tenacity he has shown over the past year in creating his own success. Andy is a perfect fit for the HyFlyers and makes them a contender for next year, which is just as important.
Ogletree has gotten his spot in LIV Golf after at first passing up a spot in the rewarding series. He procured a spot after he was named the boss of the Asian Visit’s Global Series, because of a tied-fifteenth completion at the Hong Kong Open.
He filled one of the four open spots on the Saudi-upheld circuit following the assignment of Pursue Koepka, Sihwan Kim, James Piot, and Jediah Morgan last month. The 25-year-old is familiar with LIV Golf because he participated in the league’s inaugural tournament in June 2022 at the Centurion Club in St. Albans.
Sadly, it was anything but an incredible week for the U.S. Novice champ, as he completed rearward in the 48-man field and was cut from the list until the end of the time. Ogletree, on the other hand, responded by concentrating on the International Series this year.
In the previous year, the Georgia Tech graduate has won multiple times on the Asian Visit’s 10-occasion series, with triumphs in Egypt, Qatar, and Britain. His incredible presentation procured him an impermanent hit up to LIV during the 2023 season, where he filled in as a physical issue hold at a few occasions.
Presently, the American golf player has gotten an extremely durable put on the 2024 list, a test he’s amped up for. ” It’s fantastic! I am so eager to win the Request for Legitimacy,” he said. ‘ It’s been a ton of difficult work this year, and a ton of incredible golf has gone into this.”
“I just want to say thanks to everyone who has helped me get to where I am: the Asian Tour for everything they have done, and my home team for letting me play as I have this year. I was unable to be more energized, and I can hardly stand by to play LIV one year from now.”
Ogletree added: ” Along with all of the LIV events I’m going to play, I’ll definitely participate in a few events on The International Series. Next year should be a great year, and I can’t wait to get started.” Additionally, he disclosed earlier this week that prior to his comeback, he had already communicated with several LIV teams.
