Disheartening: Steelers key LB OUT vs Seahawks
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ inside linebackers continue to take blows. Inside linebacker Elandon Roberts is out of this week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a pec injury, according to head coach Mike Tomlin’s Tuesday media statement.
Out of the three starting inside linebackers Pittsburgh signed to aid in the rebuilding of this team, Roberts was the last player remaining. Cole Holcomb was first lost by the Steelers for the season, and then a week later, Kwon Alexander arrived.
Now that Roberts is down, Pittsburgh needs to rearrange the depth chart once more. This week, the Steelers have three of the best linebackers available: Blake Martinez, Myles Jack, and Mark Robinson. During the news conference, Tomlin mentioned that Martinez will be available today
