New Year’s Honours 2024: Christian Horner recognised for Red Bull’s F1 dominance

New Year’s Distinctions 2024: Christian Horner praised his “phenomenal” Red Bull Racing colleagues after learning that he would be made a CBE. Christian Horner was recognized for Red Bull Racing’s dominance in Formula One. In 2013, the team’s principal, Christian Horner, was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

Group head Horner highlights on the 2024 New Year’s Distinctions Rundown. After a record-breaking year for Red Bull, this is the second such list of King Charles III’s reign and the first since his official coronation in May. By winning all but one of the 22 races held, the Milton Keynes-based team won its sixth constructors’ championship.

Horner, 50, drove the group to that achievement and has been boss since the caffeinated drink firm got it in front of the 2005 season. After guiding Red Bull to four consecutive titles, he was awarded the OBE in 2013.

The most recent New Year Respects list makes him a CBE, one grade under a knighthood in the English distinctions framework. Furthermore, Horner has devoted it to his staff.

He said: ” It was an unforeseen qualification 10 years prior to be given an OBE and to get this subsequent honor, a CBE, is one for which I’m tremendously thankful and profoundly regarded.

“It is an extraordinary honor to lead and work close by such a sensational group as Prophet Red Bull Hustling and furthermore to work in an industry that contributes such a great amount to the UK economy. I’m gigantically glad for what we have accomplished with Red Bull in Recipe 1 and in the more extensive high innovation field, and I’m massively regarded to be perceived for that work.”

The Singapore Great Prix was the main race which Red Bull neglected to win in 2023. What’s more, of the group’s 21 triumphs, 19 of them were gotten by Max Verstappen who himself wrecked a wrap of single-season F1 records while heading to his third-consecutive drivers’ title.

Horner isn’t just certain that he won’t ever see such a season from this point forward, yet that his group’s opponents will actually want to set up all the more a battle one year from now. ” This season, I question it will be rehashed in the course of my life,” he said at the group’s finish of-season march in Milton Keynes recently.

“With such solid resistance too, such solid groups and stable guidelines, I’m certain one year from now will be significantly nearer, much more tight and an alternate sort of challenge.”
