LIV golf player Harold Varner III captured for DWI in North Carolina

The Channel revealed that the Varner was driving in south Charlotte “while subject to an impeding substance” and enlisted a .16 BAC – two times the lawful driving cutoff.

Varner has posted bond and is expected to show up in court on Jan. 19, per WBTV.

The 33-year-old golf player surrendered from the PGA to LIV Golf in August 2022, a move he said was “too great a monetary forward leap” to turn down at that point.

“Truly, my life is changing,” Varner wrote in an explanation posted on Instagram. ” The potential chance to join LIV Golf is basically excessively great of a monetary forward leap for me to cruise by. I understand growing up without a lot. This cash will guarantee that my child and future Varners will have a strong base to begin on.

“Your assessment of me might change on account of this declaration. No untruth, that will be something extreme to manage. Be that as it may, I haven’t changed – I’m still me. I guarantee you that.”

Finally year’s Lord’s, Varner tore his LIV companions and President Greg Norman for pushing the story that they’re becoming the sport of golf instead of pursuing the cash.

“They’re brimming with s-t. They’re developing their pockets,” Varner said in a meeting with the Washington Post. ” I let them know constantly, every one of them: You didn’t come here to f-lord develop the f-ruler game.”
