Deion Sanders Suspends Former FSU Football Transfer From Colorado Buffaloes
It’s unknown if the former Seminole will return to the Buffaloes to open the season.
Deion Sanders, the head coach of Colorado, has banned former Florida State defensive tackle Bishop Thomas indefinitely for breaking team regulations. Thomas was suspended before to the conclusion of the 2023 season, according to Bristles Beat.
The excellent prospect from Bishop Moore Catholic was included in Florida State’s class of 2022. Before his second season in Tallahassee, he made the decision to move to Colorado the following spring.
For the Buffaloes’ 2024 campaign, Thomas’s position is “still being evaluated,” according to the Amazon Video documentary “Coach Prime.”
Thomas participated in two games for the Seminoles in 2022 and helped on a tackle in their 44-14 victory against Boston College at Doak Campbell Stadium.

In terms of Florida State’s defensive tackle group, Braden Fiske, Malcolm Ray, and Dennis Briggs (pending a waiver) are among the key players that will be leaving this summer.
With the present lineup of redshirt junior Darrell Jackson, redshirt junior Joshua Farmer, redshirt sophomore Daniel Lyons, redshirt freshman KJ Sampson, true freshman Jamorie Flagg, and true freshman D’Nas White, the defensive tackle group will have at least six scholarship players. Ray is openly looking into other possibilities in the portal, but Briggs’s situation is still unclear.
DJ Lundy, a former linebacker for FSU, just moved to Colorado and is the newest member of the team to join Sanders in Boulder. Defense end Derrick McLendon, safety Omarion Cooper, cornerback Travis Jay, and linebacker Brendan Gant were all former Seminoles who were traded to the Buffaloes.
