Kevin Kisner Had Savage One-Liner After Jordan Spieth Missed Three-Foot Putt
PGA Tour player Kevin Kisner made it clear to the American public before making his broadcasting debut on NBC that he would not hold back while speaking on camera.
Kisner said to Gabby Herzig of Sports Illustrated on Thursday, “I think what I’m going to try to do is have a more personal level with each player, because I obviously spend a lot of time with all these guys and I’m friends with most of them.” “A fresh viewpoint and discussion from a younger generation will be beneficial, as the game is evolving quickly.”
Kisner kept his word on Saturday, giving commentary for The Sentry golf event. On the par-5 fifteenth hole in Kapalua, Hawaii, Jordan Spieth had a short putt that lipped out.
Jordan, it’s three feet. “Just get it in, dude,” Kisner said.
Spieth ended the round at 19-under, two shots behind leader Chris Kirk, despite his mistake.
Conversely, Kisner will make a comeback to the role of analyst for the WM Phoenix Open on February 8–11.
