Jordan Love Shouted Out by Ex-Packers Coach Mike McCarthy
Regarding the Packers’ matchup with the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday’s NFL playoff kickoff, former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy would like to keep his opinions to himself. That seems sense given the potential consequences. However, he did think about quarterback Jordan Love, whom the Packers selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, one year after McCarthy’s firing in Green Bay.
Like many others in the NFL, Count McCarthy is impressed with what Love has accomplished in the short time since Aaron Rodgers’ replacement this season.

“Last year, I thought it was important for me to talk about Green Bay at the beginning of the week. I did with the team. I regretted it,” McCarthy told reporters on Monday. “I don’t think that, that doesn’t even need to come into our energy base. So, you live and learn.”
In light of the fact that the Packers will be playing the Cowboys in Dallas during the first week of the NFL playoffs, McCarthy has stated he is ending any discussion about his past with the Green Bay organization. He wants everyone to be focused solely on Sunday’s game.

Jordan Love vs. Dak Prescott: Closer Than You Think
Of course, there will be plenty of intrigue around the matchup, mostly focused on the quarterback position, where the Cowboys have 30-year-old veteran Dak Prescott, who has ascended to the top of his profession, arguably the best quarterback in the NFL.
Jordan Love, a 25-year-old who the Packers have, has the potential to be one of the finest in the league in the future. Love appeared to find his groove in the last ten games of the season, following a 2–5 start.During seven games, he completed 68.7% of his throws for 2,667 yards passing. Amazingly, he only threw three interceptions in addition to 21 touchdowns. In that time, his QB rating was 108.2.
This is a good comparison to Prescott, who finished with 2,879 yards, 26 touchdowns, four interceptions, a 68.6% completion percentage, and a 110.7 rating during the last ten games. Additionally, Love has been throwing to a youthful and thinly-stocked receiver corps; CeeDee Lamb is not on his team.
Prescott’s experience level compared with Love is, obviously, a big advantage. But his talent level might be another story.
