McCarthy release official statement in first press conference, ‘The job’s not finished’ with Cowboys
The fashion in which the 2023 season pushed the Dallas Cowboys into a week-long speculation regarding the status of head coach and offensive play-caller Mike McCarthy, but it’s now been put to bed by the team’s decision to keep him onboard for the 2024 season — the final of his five-year deal.
In his finish of-season question and answer session, McCarthy tended to the hypothesis that eventually incorporated a three-hour long sitdown with proprietor and senior supervisor Jerry Jones, when the post employment surveys were finished with players.

However, there are currently counterbalances on the scale.
With 36 wins in his last three seasons alone, McCarthy has the highest regular-season winning percentage of any head coach in franchise history. In his first year back on the job, he also created a No. 1 offense and notable numbers from CeeDee Sheep.
