A fresh look for Tiger? Trademark filings hint at new clothing deal with TaylorMade

Tiger Woods has turned a color choice into the game’s mostly famously dominant fashion statement.

Next time Tiger Woods turns up in Sunday red, his brand name look could have another brand name behind it.

TaylorMade Lifestyle Ventures LLC has submitted trademark applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for a Sunday Red brand in online filings that have caught the attention of fashionistas and golf fans alike.

Expression of the filings was first announced by the X record @LIVGolfUpdates.

Line that news along with other late turns of events and you have the makings of a high-profile matching: It appears that TaylorMade and Woods have reached an agreement regarding apparel.

Woods as of now plays TaylorMade clubs. In any case, a chance to grow his connections to the organization opened recently, when the 15-time significant boss declared that he was heading out in different directions from long-lasting supporter, Nike, whose swoosh Woods has waved since his well known “Hi, world” public interview in 1996, not long before his master debut on Visit.

Insight about the Tiger-Nike split provoked far and wide hypothesis that a dressing organization with TaylorMade was in progress. In advance of Woods’ recent appearance on the podcast Fore Play, TaylorMade itself boosted the buzz by retweeting a Fore Play promo with the caption: Remain tuned.’

The Tiger Woods-Nike separate is a killjoy. It is acceptable to mourn it now that the hype is supported by documentation. An inquiry of the U.S. Patent and Brand name Office site turns up four applications by TaylorMade for Tiger-related brand names. One shows the diagram of a jumping Tiger. Another combines the SDR letter with the leaping tiger image. Two others illuminate the words Sunday Red. All are for “labor and products” that reach from attire, jeans and shorts to eyewear, baggage satchels and wallets. The applications are all recorded as “live,” implying that they are anticipating assessment.

On the off chance that the applications lead to where they appear to be going, the world’s most popular golf player may before long have another look. Woods has been sporting red on Sundays since his novice days, preceding marking with Nike. He has said the variety decision was enlivened by his mom, Kutilda, who let him know that red represented strength.

On Sundays, Woods has rarely strayed from his signature crimson ensemble. ESPN claims that in his professional career, Woods has only played a final round in a color other than red three times.

Will he before long be sporting red yet with an alternate logo? The reality of the situation will come out at some point. Woods’ next booked appearance is at the Beginning Invitational, in mid-February.
