Minnesota Vikings Kirk Cousins sends bold Taylor Swift message

The Vikings quarterback weighed in on the Swelce romance’s impact on the NFL.

After months of fan discussion about Taylor Swift’s supported her boyfriend Travis Kelce at NFL games, some of football’s top players have also weighed in on the impact they think she’s had on their sport—including Kirk Cousins.

As of late, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback shared his considerations on Quick’s participation at NFL games. Cousins talked about how he saw Swift “high-fiving people” at the games in an interview with Us Weekly.

He stated to the publication that “it’s certainly been a positive for the league.” Like Chase, Cousins said he accepts the NFL’s crowd has developed because of the Quick peculiarity.

He stated, “I think that’s a win for everyone involved, and I hope she stays in the game for a long time.”

Quick started going to NFL games the previous fall as tales whirled about her sentiment with Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Bosses. During an interview with CNBC’s Mad Money earlier this week, Chiefs owner and CEO Clark Hunt expressed his support for the Swift-Kelce relationship and Swift’s attendance at the games in the months since the couple made their relationship public. Swift has attended a number of additional games, drawing significant attention for her presence in the stadiums, as game-day coverage frequently pans to her private suite to show her reactions. As she brought more attention to their games, Hunt stated that his team’s “female audience has grown leaps and bounds.” Additionally, he denied rumors that Swift’s attendance at the games was a “marketing stunt,” asserting that the relationship is “very real.”

Quick has gotten help from others with the Bosses, also. The dad of Bosses quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Pat Mahomes Sr., noticed that Quick explored on NFL quarterbacks by watching the Netflix docuseries Quarterbacks, a reality he realized when he met her interestingly. Mahomes, Philadelphia Eagles player Marcus Mariota, and Cousins star in the 2023 docuseries.
