FSU Veteran Defensive Back to Remain with ‘The Battle’s End’ for Another Season
The jumpy DB is going into his redshirt senior season at Florida State.
Florida State Name Picture and Similarity (Nothing) aggregate “The Fight’s End” declared on Wednesday that it will proceed with its relationship with protective back Voracious Vance, Jr. for the 2024 season. The redshirt senior is falling off a useful year, wrapping up with 18 handles and an interference, helping the ‘Noles to a 13-1 record and an ACC Title.
Vance moved from Louisville before the 2022 season and burned through two years in Tallahassee. He completed 2023 with a general cautious grade of 71.8 per Genius Football Concentration (PFF). During Florida State’s 41-3 victory over Syracuse, he gave his best performance (90.5).

The 5’11”, 170-pound cautious back out of Edna Karr Secondary School has played 27 games during his two seasons in Tallahassee. He’s had 34 complete handles, nine pass separations, and four block attempts, driving the group in focal points in 2022 with three.
Florida State will lose players like guarded backs Jarrian Jones and Renardo Green and will require a veteran presence like Vance to assist with driving the rookies take of #Tribe24.
