Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend sues him amid domestic abuse, claims damages of more than $,100 million
The domestic dispute between Tiger Woods and his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman continues to escalate as the former partner of the golf star took the matter to court in Florida. As per reports, Woods allegedly locked Herman out of the house seaside mansion they shared on the Treasure Coast after the two broke up in October 2022.
Erica Herman, the ex-girlfriend of Tiger Woods, has filed a lawsuit against a homestead trust controlled by the golfer in Hobe Sound, Florida. Rather than directly suing Woods, Herman is seeking damages of over $30 million, alleging that the trust and its representatives unlawfully took $40,000 of her money and made false claims about how she acquired it. These accusations are described as malicious and damaging to her reputation.

According to the court records obtained by USA Today Sports, her lawsuit, Herman had an unwritten agreement to continue living in the shared home for five years after a six-year period preceding the end of her relationship with Tiger Woods. In her legal complaint, Erica Herman claimed that the tasks she was required to perform and the responsibilities she was expected to handle were highly demanding and exceptional, given the context and surroundings of her living situation.
Recently, Erica Herman filed a separate lawsuit against Tiger Woods, requesting to be released from a non-disclosure agreement signed in 2017. She argued that the agreement, which prevents her from disclosing certain information about Woods, is not enforceable due to the federal Speak Out Act, which prohibits the enforceability of such agreements in cases of sexual assault or harassment.
