Breaking:Cameras Catch Angel Reese’s Violent Hit On Caitlin Clark
Things are getting chippy between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese as the Indiana Fever hosted the Chicago Sky on Saturday afternoon.
First, Sky guard Chennedy Carter made a dirty play on Clark, knocking her to the ground in a non-basketball play. Reese was seen on the sideline cheering on her teammate after the hard foul. No technical or flagrant was received.
Later in the game, with two minutes and 45 seconds left, Reese was caught on camera violently sending Clark to the ground as they both went for the rebound. Reese started jawing at Clark while she was heading back down the floor.
A clip of this incident was posted online by a WNBA fan.
“Now another Sky player with a cheap shot on Caitlin Clark. Angel Reese with the elbow and then stare down. That’s not basketball.”
The intense rivalry between Clark and Reese, which originated during their college years at Iowa and LSU, respectively, has persisted and continues to add an exciting dynamic to their basketball games
