Caitlin Clark Earns New Nickname From Indiana Fever Teammate After Ninth WNBA Loss
The Indiana Fever aren’t having the 2024 regular season they had hoped for.
The Fever fell to 2-9 on the regular season after getting blown out by the New York Liberty on Sunday.
Thankfully for the Fever, they’re facing the Washington Mystics, the only WNBA team with a worse record (0-8), in their next game.
And Caitlin Clark is coming off the worst performance of her WNBA career to this point, after scoring just three points against the Liberty.
That being said, a recent social media post from one of Clark’s teammates shows she’s still adored
Smith’s caption was, “gooo caityyyy” with two giggling emojis.
Therefore, it sounds like “caity” is a new nickname the Fever are using for Clark, which has some sort of funny connotation to it.
Perhaps it’s the fact that Clark doesn’t like the nickname is what makes it funny.
Regardless, we’ll keep listening to hear whether “Caity” is used again by a Fever teammate.
