Indiana Fever Coach Reveals Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston’s Bold brutal Message During Ninth WNBA Loss
The Indiana Fever suffered their ninth loss of the WNBA season on Sunday, as they were defeated by the New York Liberty by a score of 104-68.
Indiana’s two best players, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, both went to the locker room during the fourth quarter of the game, as the result of an ear injury for Clark and an ankle injury for Boston.
Despite these ailments and the Fever being blown out, Indiana Fever head coach Christie Sides decided to put both young superstars back in the game once they returned to the sidelines.
They wanted to fight,” Sides said of Clark and Boston. “They wanted to get in that game. They tried to get the game closer than it was. They have pride too. They wanted to get in there and keep fighting, so that was the reason.
It’s natural for all top-level competitors to want to help their team win games. Even during blowouts.
But it’s supposed to be a head coach’s job to make wise decisions on their player’s behalf.
Luckily neither Clark or Boston got injured further as a result of Sides’ decision
