His Not my child: Scottie Scheffler shares ‘DNA TEST RESULTS’ moment after child’s birth wife

Scottie Scheffler’s first victory as a father got even better the moment he stepped off the 18th green.

The world’s No. 1 ranked player was greeted by his newborn son Bennett and wife Meredith after sinking a putt to finish at 8-under par for a one-shot win over Collin Morikawa at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio on Sunday.

Meredith, holding Bennett, who was born in May, delivered a special message before handing over their bundle of joy.

“He’s so proud of you,” a beaming Meredith said. “You want to say hi? That’s your daddy. He’s so proud of you, right.”

The three then shared a hug before Scheffler went to turn in his scorecard at Muirfield Village Golf Club. It meant a lot to him to get that moment.

“It’s pretty fun,” Scheffler told CBS Sports during his on-course interview after the win. “He’s [Bennett] getting a little sunburn right now, but it’s all good. I’ll give him my hat here in a second.”

The victory, which also included a handshake from tournament host Jack Nicklaus, was Scheffler’s fifth PGA Tour win this year and first since his arrest on driving-related charges at the PGA Championship that have since been dropped.

The two-time Masters winner and his wife welcomed Bennett into the world right before the PGA Championship.

“Welcome to the world little one. Your mom & dad love you so much,” the 27-year-old Scheffler captioned an Instagram post about his arrival.

Scheffler will look to keep his red-hot play going and win his third major championship at the U.S. Open next weekend at Pinehurst.

It’s pretty fun,” Scheffler said of his first win as a dad. “This tournament is special to us and will be for a long time.”
