BREAKING: Jon Rahm makes impressive return to PGA Tour and announces resignation from LIV Golf

The 29-year-old Masters champion’s big-money move to Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf has sent another shockwave through the sports world.

Masters champion Jon Rahm defected to Saudi-funded LIV Golf for what is believed to be more than the PGA Tour’s total prize money, but the blow has further deepened a rift in the golf world as the two countries negotiate a trade deal.

Rahm confirmed the decision in an interview with Fox News on Thursday. Wearing a black letterman jacket with the LIV logo, he said it was a difficult solution.

“I was very happy,” Lam said. “But there are a lot that Liv Golf has to offer that very attractive.”

He said that he would keep the amount of the agreement in the middle of the reports which put his remuneration in the range of $ 500 million, which would likely include equity in his new team. The total PGA Tour bag in 2023 was around $ 460 million. The development comes 25 days before a June 6 deadline for the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund to finalize an agreement to become commercial partners of a for-profit enterprise along with the European Tour.
