BOMBSHELL ANNOUNCEMENT: LeBron James announce he’s leaving Lakers, claimed his son Bronny James have been publicly disgraced by Lakers after
Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, has been assigned by the Los Angeles Lakers to their G League affiliate, South Bay.
According to ESPN sources, Bronny will make his debut for South Bay on Saturday against Salt Lake City. However, he will still join the Lakers for select games, including an upcoming matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
This movement between the Lakers and South Bay aligns with the team’s long-term development plan for Bronny, a concept supported by his agent, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul. Unlike many second-round draftees, who typically have two-way contracts, Bronny’s camp pushed for a standard NBA deal, demonstrating their commitment to his development through structured playtime and G League experience. Drafted 55th overall, Bronny has already appeared in four games this season, making history with his father as the first father-son duo to play in the same NBA game on October 22.
His G League assignment will provide valuable game reps and coaching as he continues his transition into the professional game.
