Emma Raducanu addresses her detractors and doubters with a direct message.

Even while she has been marginalized, Raducanu has received some unfavorable feedback.

The fact that her detractors and skeptics are still talking about her, according to Emma Raducanu, is a “compliment” because it probably means she is valuable.
Following her impressive 2021 US Open victory, Raducanu, 20, experienced a decline in performance and was subject to intense scrutiny.

Raducanu has frequently read or heard over the past year and a half about being referred to as “a one-Slam wonder.
“Most recently, Raducanu has heard about people saying that this injury break won’t change much and that she will never return to the top again.
Raducanu underwent multiple surgeries in May and is anticipated to return in 2024.

The mere fact that they are still mentioning me even though I’m not present at these events is a compliment.
I once heard, “Worry when they are not talking about you,” said Raducanu, speaking to BBC London.

For the Briton’s detractors, Raducanu’s agent had a message.

Late in July, Raducanu’s agent, Max Eisenbud, addressed those who had criticized and questioned him strongly, emphasizing that not just anyone can win a Slam.

“You don’t just win the US Open by accident, as she did.
To do what she did, you must be exceptional. I believe she will calm down, things will become more peaceful for her, and she will start making deeper runs.
When it’s all said and done, I believe she will win more Grand Slams,” Eisenbud said on The Tennis Podcast.

Eisenbud added that Raducanu deserved praise for essentially winning a Slam right out of high school and that he also deserved more recognition.
We are all aware of the fact that she played very little in the run-up to Wimbledon because she was studying.
These are amazing things that I don’t think the British media focus on very much, which is unfortunate because I think it took a lot of bravery on the part of her parents and herself to sacrifice her tennis development.

Eisenbud argued that the claim that a Grand Slam winner attends a regular school will never be true.
