With five complete race weekends remaining, Max Verstappen has already clinched the 2023 F1 drivers’ championship, and his Red Bull team has ensured back-to-back constructors’ championship victories.
According to one Formula 1 analyst, Max Verstappen’s heroics this year have concealed Red Bull’s real car performance.
With five more Grand Prix weekends left in the season, the Dutchman has already locked up the drivers’ championship after winning 14 of the first 17 races. Sergio Perez, a teammate, has nearly as many points as he does, with a difference of 209.
Red Bull has consistently had the fastest car on the starting grid.
However, Verstappen and Perez’s different campaign results mean, in the opinion of former F1 driver Giedo van der Garde, that it is necessary to evaluate the actual speed of the team’s equipment.
According to the Dutch expert, Max improves Red Bull.
“If he had been with a different team, that team would have amassed more victories, and Max would have won in a different car, for sure.

Due to Verstappen’s dominance this season, it appears unlikely that any of his grid competitors will be able to catch up to him anytime soon.
Eddie Jordan, a former owner of an F1 team, thinks Oscar Piastri, a rookie superstar, has the best chance of succeeding.
The Irishman told TalkSPORT, “Piastri is just fabulous.
“He is the only genuine contender I can see challenging Verstappen in the future. I must admit that I have the utmost respect for this child and believe he has a bright future ahead of him.
