Ravens’ Mark Andrews Touts Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill as Potential Olympic Hero in 2028

Tyreek Hill of the Dolphins is mentioned by Ravens’ Mark Andrews as a possible Olympic hero in 2028.

Flag football, lacrosse, baseball, softball, cricket, and squash are all getting closer to being included in the Olympic program, so it’s looking more and more likely that the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles will feature an American flavor.

American football was showcased at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics, but it has never been a part of the Olympic Games before.
At all levels of the game, rumors of the sport’s impending inclusion have created excitement this week.

When asked what he thought flag football would mean to be included in the Games on Friday, Ravens tight end Mark Andrews responded by stating who he thought should represent the United States.

Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Dolphins, could likely handle the task by himself, according to Andrews.

Aside from his football accomplishments, Hill was a competitive sprinter who placed third in the 200 meters at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Barcelona.

The United States has won every IFAF (International Federation of American Football) World Championship it has entered, so Andrews’ remarks also alluded to the potential competitive imbalance that American football could bring to the Olympics.
