On Tuesday, forward Noah Gregor agreed to a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Prior to training camp, the 25-year-old Gregor had signed on with the Maple Leafs as a professional tryout.
In 57 games with the San Jose Sharks last year, he finished with 17 points (10 goals, 7 assists).
Since being chosen by the Sharks in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft, Gregor has amassed 51 points (26 goals, 25 assists) in 178 games played.
