Aaron Rodgers, Dobbins Achilles tears, and Anthony Richardson’s most recent injuries from the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets was among the prominent players who were ruled out for the rest of the NFL season after Week 1; how are the other teams doing in Week 2?

The Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings will face off at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday to kick off Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season.

The league will be without a few players, though, as a result of injuries sustained in Week 1.

On both sides of the ball, a number of well-known starters were absent from Week 1 or suffered injuries in the first contests of the season.

The more significant confirmed injuries and issues going into Week 2 have been examined by Mirror US Sports.

Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Four snaps into his New York Jets debut, the 39-year-old four-time NFL MVP tore his left Achilles, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.

After Leonard Floyd of the Buffalo Bills sacked Aaron Rodgers, the injury happened. Zach Wilson, who played against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in Week 2, will once again be the Jets’ primary quarterback.

Wilson performed satisfactorily enough against the Bills to aid in the team’s 22-16 overtime victory.
A further setback for the Green Bay Packers is that Rodgers won’t meet the required percentage of snaps played, preventing the second-round pick they received in exchange for him from becoming a first.

Dobbins plays for the Baltimore Ravens.

Running back Dobbins for the Ravens will miss Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals and the rest of the 2023 campaign due to an Achilles tear, like Rodgers did.

In the 25-9 victory over the Houston Texans, a freak accident occurred.
Before suffering an injury in the third quarter, Dobbins had a good game’s opening drive, transforming into Superman to reach the end zone for a touchdown.
Due to his history with injuries, the veteran has played fewer games in recent years.

Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts.

The rookie appears to have avoided an injury scare ahead of the Colts’ Week 2 game against the Houston Texans, where he will face C, a fellow first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
J. Stroud.

With one minute left in the 31-21 defeat to Jacksonville, Richardson left the game with what appeared to be a lower body injury.
This brought backup Gardner Minshew onto the field.

Richardson, however, is fine and will try to outperform his 223 passing yards and touchdown.
A touchdown was also scored by Richardson.

the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.

Before the team’s 21-20 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 1 due to a hyperextended knee, the star tight end was ruled out. Kelce has provided an update on his injury, allaying concerns that he might spend a long time on the sidelines for the Chiefs.
On the newest installment of the “New Heights” podcast, he declared, “Things are looking up.”.

“I’m doing well.
Compared to last week, I feel much better.
In advance of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kelce continued, “I did run yesterday, and it feels like I might be able to play this week.

“We’ll monitor practice’s progress.

L.A. Chargers’ Austin Ekeler.

The Miami Dolphins’ 36-34 defeat resulted in an ankle injury for Ekeler.
The Chargers, who travel to Tennessee this weekend to play the Titans, will suffer without the running back because he did score a touchdown in the game.

Seahawks player Tyler Lockett.

The wide receiver was Seattle’s main player in the 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Before being assessed for a possible concussion, Lockett caught two passes on four targets for a total of 10 yards.
If Lockett doesn’t play against the Lions in Week 2, rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba might fill in.

Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Jones.

During the 38-20 victory over the Chicago Bears, Jones was ecstatic. The Jordan Love era began with the running back’s two touchdowns after Rodgers left for the Jets.

Jones, however, pulled up with what appeared to be a hamstring injury after sprinting into the end zone.
Jones’ injury isn’t as serious as initially thought, though, ahead of a visit to the Atlanta Falcons.

Diontae Johnson plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Johnson left the field in the second half of last weekend’s 30-7 thrashing at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, where quarterback Brock Purdy ran amok.

Before suffering a hamstring injury, Pittsburgh’s leading wide receiver for the Steelers had three catches. Johnson won’t be available for Pittsburgh’s trip to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2.
