Furious fans criticize the Ryder Cup TV coverage, which is a major issue.

The TV coverage of the 2023 Ryder Cup’s opening day, when Team Europe defeated Team USA 4-0, has drawn criticism from viewers in the US.

Many viewers of the Ryder Cup coverage in the United States have expressed dissatisfaction with the excessive amount of advertisements that predominate the coverage.

Near Rome, at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, is where the 2023 Ryder Cup will be held.
While Zach Johnson is leading Team USA in Italy, Luke Donald serves as the captain of Team Europe.

Donald and Johnson chose their pairings for the morning foursomes at Marco Simone on Friday, the first day of the competition.
After winning the morning session 4-0, Team Europe was able to pull out to a significant lead.

Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns were defeated by Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton 4&3, while Brian Harman and Max Homa were defeated by Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg 4&3.
Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood defeated Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay with a score of 2–1 while Shane Lowry and Sepp Straka defeated Rickie Fowler and Collin Morikawa by the same margin.

The morning session left the US with a difficult task, but viewers on the other side of the Atlantic were less than pleased with the TV coverage of the competition.
With their social media posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers of NBC Sports’ coverage of the Ryder Cup in the United States have criticized the coverage’s excessive use of advertisements.

The biggest golf event occurs every two years, and yet we are inundated with commercials, complained one fan.
There must be a way to offer a version that is free from advertisements and includes all shots and that can be purchased.

This coverage is harsh, said a different US fan.
Only occurring every two years, the Ryder Cup has been the subject of more advertisements than actual golf shots.

Besides that, there’s also the illogical scoring graph in the corner.
Better treatment is due to the biggest event in professional golf.

Team USA currently holds the Ryder Cup after winning the competition at Whistling Straits in 2021.
Since the last time the competition was held on home soil in 2018, in Paris, Europe has not defeated the US.

History is on Europe’s side when it comes to their chances of winning this week.
Since 1993 at the Belfry in England, Team USA has not prevailed in an international competition.
