Davante Adams, a Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver, provides an update on his alarming injury against Los Angeles Chargers.

As they prepare to play the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, the Las Vegas Raiders have had to deal with some difficult injury news.
Jimmy Garoppolo had to be replaced by rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell because he was unable to play in this game due to a head injury.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue Las Vegas had to deal with on Sunday.

Davante Adams, a star for the Las Vegas Raiders, suffers a shoulder injury.

In the second quarter, Adams was forced to leave the game after being tackled by LA safety Michael Davis.
Following the knock, the Raiders star immediately went to the locker room.

Fortunately, the three-time All-Pro wide receiver was able to come back into the game after the break and finish the game for the Raiders.
Adams watched as his team was defeated 24-17 by Justin Herbert and company, finishing with eight receptions for 75 yards and no touchdowns.

Adams gave a brief update on his injury following the game, saying that his shoulder “definitely does not feel good right now. The six-time Pro Bowler said he initially thought he wouldn’t be able to play again, but he ultimately decided to “nut it up” to try and help his team eke out a victory.

Next Monday, the 1-3 Raiders will play the Green Bay Packers in Week 5 of their schedule.
It is currently unknown if Adams will be available for that match.

Davante Adams played in a record-breaking game.

Despite the injury, Adams had a historic day.
Only 41 yards separated him from 10,000 career receiving yards when the game began. It didn’t take long for the former Fresno State standout to surpass the 10,000-yard milestone, which amply demonstrates the kind of career Adams has had over the course of his illustrious 10-year NFL career.

As the Raiders attempt to recover from losing three of their first four games of the season, more of the same will be expected from Adams going forward. Las Vegas will obviously need their best player to be at the top of their game if they want to maintain their playoff hopes.
