The Cleveland Browns are approaching an early bye week, and they might take advantage of it to trade for a new wide receiver to bolster their arsenal.

Jerry Jeudy, a pass-catcher for the Denver Broncos who the Browns had previously looked into, has come up as a name that might be a choice.
If Cleveland decides to look into upgrading their wide receiver room, according to Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland .
com, Jeudy might show up on their radar.

On October 1, Cabot wrote, “I think the Browns will reach the bye week and start evaluating whether they need to add another Pro Bowl-caliber receiver to the roster.”.
If so, Jeudy may once again appear on their radar because he has done so previously, most recently in March before they traded for Elijah Moore.

Cabot added that trading for displeased Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams is less likely than making a move for someone like Jeudy.

Judy would complement his Alabama cousin Amari Cooper very well.
Additionally, he would get to work with Donovan Peoples-Jones and Elijah Moore.

With 67 catches for 972 yards and six touchdowns in 2017, Jeudy came into this season having just completed his best season as a professional. In total, Jeudy has 168 catches for 2,453 yards.
Jeudy’s new season hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts. He has 13 catches for 158 yards in three games after missing the first one due to injury. Jeudy has yet to score in the end zone.

Browns are “good” with their current wide receiver room.

The Browns made some improvements to their passing attack during the offseason. They acquired Moore through a trade, signed Marquise Goodwin, a seasoned player, and selected Cedric Tillman with a third-round pick in the draft.

Moore has been a strong addition, and the Browns have plans for using him in a variety of ways.
Tillman and Goodwin have only combined for two catches this year for a total of five yards.
Although things haven’t gone well, Browns general manager Andrew Berry is happy with the situation.

On October 4, when asked if the team would look elsewhere during the bye week, Berry responded, “We feel good about our pass catchers.”.

Fair enough, it’s been challenging to evaluate the Browns’ offense thus far this year. They lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener despite quarterback Deshaun Watson sitting out due to unfavorable playing conditions.
A season-ending injury to Nick Chubb in Week 2 has made life difficult for the team, who is still getting used to life without him.

The Browns must also look into their running back options.

The Browns will also thoroughly assess their depth at running back during the bye week.
With Chubb out, Cleveland’s running game has stalled, and the backfield could use some improvement.
